# Former Olympic sprint champion Bobby Morrow dies aged 84.
American sprinter Bobby Morrow, who won three gold medals at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, died on last Saturday 30 May 2020 at the age of 84.
Morrow won gold in the 100 and 200 metres and anchored the U.S. to victory in the 4x100m relay, in which they set a world record. He is one four men to win these three events at a single Games, alongside Jesse Owens, Carl Lewis and Usain Bolt.
He was named Sports Illustrated's "Sportsman of the Year" in 1956 and set 11 ratified world records during his career.
U.S. media reported that Morrow died of natural causes at his home in San Benito, Texas.

මොරෝ මීටර් 100 සහ 200 ඉසව්වෙන් රන් පදක්කම දිනාගත් අතර මීටර 4x100 සහය දිවීමේ ඉසව්වෙන් එක්සත් ජනපදය ජයග්‍රහණය කරා ගෙන ගිය අතර ඔවුන් ලෝක වාර්තාවක් තැබීය. ජෙසී ඕවන්ස්, කාල් ලුවිස් සහ උසේන් බෝල්ට් සමඟ එක් ක්‍රීඩා උළෙලකදී මෙම ඉසව් තුනම ජයග්‍රහණය කළ ඔහු සිව්දෙනෙකි.
ඔහු 1956 දී ස්පෝර්ට්ස් ඉලස්ට්‍රේටඩ් හි "වසරේ ක්‍රීඩකයා" ලෙස නම් කරන ලද අතර ඔහුගේ වෘත්තීය ජීවිතය තුළ අනුමත ලෝක වාර්තා 11 ක් පිහිටුවීය.
එක්සත් ජනපද මාධ්‍ය වාර්තා කළේ මොරෝ ටෙක්සාස්හි සැන් බෙනිටෝහි පිහිටි ඔහුගේ නිවසේදී ස්වභාවික හේතූන් නිසා මිය ගිය බවයි.
