# China successfully launches last satellite for its BeiDou Navigation Satellite System.
China on 23 June 2020 successfully launched the last satellite of its BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), going to be a competitor to the Global Positioning System (GPS) of the US, taking another step to becoming a major space power.
The satellite was launched on 23 June 2020 morning from the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The satellite was successfully sent into space by a Long March-3B carrier rocket.

චීනය 2020 ජුනි 23 වන දින එක්සත් ජනපදයේ ගෝලීය ස්ථානගත කිරීමේ පද්ධතියේ (ජීපීඑස්) තරඟකරුවෙකු වීමට නියමිත සිය BeiDou Navigation Satellite පද්ධතියේ (බීඩීඑස්) අවසාන චන්ද්‍රිකාව සාර්ථකව දියත් කළ අතර ප්‍රධාන අභ්‍යවකාශ බලයක් බවට පත්වීමට තවත් පියවරක් ගත්තේය.
නිරිතදිග චීනයේ සිචුවාන් පළාතේ ෂිචැං චන්ද්‍රිකා දියත් කිරීමේ මධ්‍යස්ථානයේ සිට 2020 ජුනි 23 වන දින උදෑසන මෙම චන්ද්‍රිකාව දියත් කරන ලදී.
Long March-3B carrier රොකට්ටුවක් මගින් චන්ද්‍රිකාව සාර්ථකව අභ්‍යවකාශයට යවන ලදී.
