# World Food Safety Day - 07 June.
June 7, 2020, marks the second annual observance of World Food Safety Day. The theme, which remains the same as last year’s, is “Food safety, everyone’s business.”
The goal of World Food Safety Day is to bring awareness and inspire action to help prevent, detect, and manage foodborne risks, contributing to food security, human health, economic prosperity, agriculture, market access, tourism, and sustainable development.
The adoption of World Food Safety Day is a joint venture between the United Nations General Assembly, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
# ලෝක ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතා දිනය - ජූනි 07.
2020 ජුනි 7 වන දින ලෝක ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතා දිනයේ දෙවන වාර්ෂික සැමරුම සනිටුහන් කරයි. තේමාව, පසුගිය වසරේ පැවති ආකාරයටම පවතී, “ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතාව, සෑම දෙනාගේම ව්‍යාපාරය.”
ලෝක ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතා දිනයේ පරමාර්ථය වන්නේ ආහාර මගින් ඇතිවිය හැකි අවදානම් වැළැක්වීම, හඳුනා ගැනීම සහ කළමනාකරණය කිරීම, ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතාව, මානව සෞඛ්‍යය, ආර්ථික සමෘද්ධිය, කෘෂිකර්මාන්තය, වෙළඳපල ප්‍රවේශය, සංචාරක සහ තිරසාර සංවර්ධනය සඳහා දායක වීම සඳහා දැනුවත් කිරීම සහ ක්‍රියා කිරීම ය.
ලෝක ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතා දිනය සම්මත කිරීම එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ මහා මණ්ඩලය, ලෝක සෞඛ්‍ය සංවිධානය (WHO) සහ එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ ආහාර හා කෘෂිකර්ම සංවිධානය අතර ඒකාබද්ධ ව්‍යාපාරයකි.
