# England Cricketer Ian Bell announces retirement from professional cricket.
England batsman Ian Bell, who played his last international game in 2015, will retire from all professional cricket.
Bell, who made his debut in 2004, enjoyed a span of 11 years as an England player. During which he won five Ashes series out of seven. He was the Player of the Series in the 2013 series, where he scored 562 runs at an average of 62.44.
Bell enjoyed a great run in ODI cricket too. With 5416 runs he was England's leading run-getter in the format until current captain Eoin Morgan overtook him in 2018. Bell remains third on the list of England's most prolific run-scorers in the fifty-over format.

2004 දී සිය මංගල තරගයට පිවිසි බෙල් එංගලන්ත ක්‍රීඩකයෙකු ලෙස වසර 11 ක කාලයක් භුක්ති වින්දා. ඒ අතරතුර ඔහු අළු බඳුන තරග 7 න් 5 ක්ම දිනා ගත්තේය. ඔහු 2013 තරගමාලාවේ ක්‍රීඩකයා වූ අතර එහිදී ඔහු ලකුණු 62.44 ක සාමාන්‍යයකින් ලකුණු 562 ක් රැස් කළේය.
බෙල් එක්දින ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩාවේ ද විශිෂ්ට දස්කම් දැක්වීය. වත්මන් නායක ඉයන් මෝගන් 2018 දී ඔහු පසුකර යන තෙක් ඔහු ලකුණු 5416 ක් ලබා ගනිමින් එංගලන්තයේ ප්‍රමුඛතම ලකුණු ලාභියා විය. බෙල් ඕවර පනහක ආකෘතියෙන් එංගලන්තයේ වැඩිම ලකුණු රැස් කළ ක්‍රීඩකයින්ගේ ලැයිස්තුවේ තෙවැනි ස්ථානයේ සිටී.
