# World Patient Safety Day - 17 September.

Recognizing patient safety as a global health priority, all 194 WHO Member States at the 72nd World Health Assembly, in May 2019, endorsed the establishment of World Patient Safety Day (Resolution WHA72.6), to be marked annually on 17 September. 

The objectives of World Patient Safety Day are to increase public awareness and engagement, enhance global understanding, and spur global solidarity and action to promote patient safety.

The World Patient Safety Day Theme 2020 : Health Worker Safety: A Priority for Patient Safety.

# ලෝක රෝගීන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව පිළිබඳ දිනය - සැප්තැම්බර් 17.

රෝගීන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව ගෝලීය සෞඛ්‍ය ප්‍රමුඛතාවයක් ලෙස පිළිගෙන, 72 වන ලෝක සෞඛ්‍ය සමුළුවේදී ලෝක සෞඛ්‍ය සංවිධානයේ සාමාජික රටවල් 194 ම 2019 මැයි මාසයේදී ලෝක රෝගී සුරක්ෂිතතා දිනය (WHA72.6 යෝජනාව) ස්ථාපිත කිරීම අනුමත කරන ලදී.

ලෝක රෝගී සුරක්‍ෂිතතා දිනයේ පරමාර්ථයන් වන්නේ මහජනතාව දැනුවත් කිරීම සහ ක්‍රියාකාරිත්වය වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම, ගෝලීය අවබෝධය වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම සහ රෝගීන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීම සඳහා ගෝලීය සහයෝගීතාව සහ ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ගැනීම ය.
