# 35th Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific (APRC 35).
The 35th Session of the FAO Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific (APRC 35), 1 – 4 September 2020, convened virtually, on an exceptional basis, in light of the global pandemic and associated public health concerns. The move to a virtual format followed consultations with the FAO Director-General, the Regional Groups representing member nations, and with the concurrence of the Host Country, Bhutan.
Bangladesh will host the 36th Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific of the in 2022. It will be the first time that the country will host the event, ever since it joined the organisation in 1973. The Regional Conference is held once every two years. The first regional conference was held in Bangalore, India, in 1953.

2020 සැප්තැම්බර් 1 සිට 4 දක්වා ආසියාව සහ පැසිෆික් කලාපය සඳහා වූ FAO කලාපීය සමුළුවේ 35 වන සැසිය (APRC 35), ගෝලීය වසංගත හා ඒ ආශ්‍රිත මහජන සෞඛ්‍ය අවශ්‍යතා සැලකිල්ලට ගනිමින් සුවිශේෂී පදනමක් මත රැස්විය. අතථ්‍ය ආකෘතියකට මාරුවීම, FAO අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල්, සාමාජික රටවල් නියෝජනය කරන කලාපීය කණ්ඩායම් සහ සත්කාරක රට වන භූතානයේ එකඟතාවයෙන් පසුව ය.
2022 දී බංග්ලාදේශය ආසියාව සහ පැසිෆික් කලාපය සඳහා වන 36 වන කලාපීය සමුළුවට සත්කාරකත්වය සපයනු ඇත. 1973 දී සංවිධානයට සම්බන්ධ වූ දා සිට රට විසින් මෙම උත්සවය පවත්වනු ලබන පළමු අවස්ථාව මෙය වේ. ප්‍රාදේශීය සමුළුව වසර දෙකකට වරක් පවත්වනු ලැබේ. පළමු කලාපීය සමුළුව 1953 දී ඉන්දියාවේ බැංගලෝරයේ දී පැවැත්විණි.
