"Sri Lanka@100" Platform Launched To Boost Economic Prosperity through Growth of Mid-Sized Firms.
Sri Lanka@100, a private sector-led initiative focused on the growth of mid-market enterprises – funded by the U.S. Government’s international development agency, USAID, and administered by Stax – was launched on today (Thursday 24th 2020) at the Galle Face Hotel. Gracing the occasion were her Excellency, Alaina B. Teplitz, U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and the Honorable Tharaka Balasuriya, State Minister of Regional Cooperation.
Stax Managing Director and Co-Founder of SL@100, Dr. Kumudu Gunasekara, in his welcome address, emphasized that the Purpose of the initiative is to enable Sri Lanka to become a high-income country within 100 years of independence (by 2048) — with equitable and inclusive growth fueled by the value creation of mid-market firms. The Platform will, in particular, support businesses in underserved segments.
# මධ්‍යම ප්‍රමාණයේ සමාගම්වල වර්ධනය තුළින් ආර්ථික සමෘද්ධිය ඉහළ නැංවීම සඳහා “ශ්‍රී ලංකා @ 100” වේදිකාව දියත් කරන ලදී.
එක්සත් ජනපද රජයේ ජාත්‍යන්තර සංවර්ධන ඒජන්සිය වන USAID විසින් අරමුදල් සපයනු ලබන සහ ස්ටැක්ස් විසින් පරිපාලනය කරනු ලබන මධ්‍යම වෙළඳපල ව්‍යවසායන්හි වර්ධනය කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කරන පෞද්ගලික අංශයේ මූලිකත්වයෙන් යුත් Sri Lanka@100 අද (24 බ්‍රහස්පතින්දා 2020) ගාලු මුවදොර හෝටලයේ දී දියත් කරන ලදී. . මෙම අවස්ථාවට අතිගරු ඇලිනා බී. ටෙප්ලිට්ස්, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සහ මාලදිවයිනේ එක්සත් ජනපද තානාපති සහ කලාපීය සහයෝගීතා රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ගරු තාරකා බාලසූරිය යන මහත්වරු සහභාගී වූහ.
SL@100 හි ස්ටැක්ස් කළමණාකාර අධ්‍යක්ෂ සහ සම-නිර්මාතෘ ආචාර්ය කුමුදු ගුණසේකර මහතා සිය පිළිගැනීමේ දේශනයේදී අවධාරණය කළේ නිදහස ලබා වසර 100 ක් ඇතුළත (2048 වන විට) ශ්‍රී ලංකාව ඉහළ ආදායම් ලබන රටක් බවට පත්කිරීම මෙම වැඩසටහනේ අරමුණ බවයි. - මැද වෙළඳපල සමාගම්වල වටිනාකම් නිර්මාණය කිරීම මගින් සමතුලිත හා සියල්ල ඇතුළත් වර්ධනයක් ඇති කරයි. වේදිකාව, විශේෂයෙන්, අවතක්සේරු නොකළ කොටස්වල ව්‍යාපාර සඳහා සහාය වනු ඇත.
