# Fund to be set up to renovate Deegawapi Temple.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal made by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to establish a trust fund for the collection of funds for performing the renovation and conservation activities of Deegawapi temple, Co-cabinet Spokesman Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila said.
He was addressing a media briefing held at the Government Information Department to inform the decisions taken at the cabinet meeting.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has established a Presidential task Force for the management of archaeological heritage within the Eastern Province and the task has planned to raise funds for the immediate renovation and conservation of Deegawapi temple.

දීගවාපි චෛත්‍යය ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ හා සංරක්ෂණ කටයුතු සඳහා අරමුදල් රැස් කිරීම සඳහා භාරකාර අරමුදලක් පිහිටුවීම සඳහා ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතා කළ යෝජනාවට අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩලය අනුමැතිය ලබා දුන් බව සම කැබිනට් ප්‍රකාශක බලශක්ති අමාත්‍ය උදය ගම්මන්පිල මහතා පැවසීය.
සතියේ පැවති කැබිනට් රැස්වීමේදී ගත් තීරණ දැනුම් දීම සඳහා රජයේ තොරතුරු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ පැවති මාධ්‍ය හමුව අමතමින් ඔහු මේ බව පැවසීය.
නැගෙනහිර පුරාවිද්‍යාත්මක උරුමයන් කළමනාකරණය කිරීම සඳහා ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතා විසින් ජනාධිපති කාර්ය සාධක බලකායක් පිහිටුවා ඇති අතර දීගවාපි චෛත්‍යය ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය හා සංරක්ෂණය සඳහා අරමුදල් රැස් කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇත.
