# World Pharmacist Day - 25 September.
Every year on September 25th, pharmacists around the globe celebrate World Pharmacist Day. This day focuses on the role pharmacists play in improving health on a global scale.
When it comes to pharmacists, you probably think of the person behind the counter that fills your prescription. These pharmacists work long hours, usually standing the entire time. Along with dispensing pills and providing advice on medications, pharmacists also administer immunizations. Pharmacists who conduct research discover and test new medications.
The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) established World Pharmacist Day in 2009 in Istanbul, Turkey. They chose September 25th because on this day in 1912 the FIP was founded. Each year there is a theme announced for World Pharmacist Day. Those in the industry promote the themes world wide. These themes help pharmacists put together national campaigns that showcase their work.
2020 Theme: "Transforming global health".
# ලෝක ඖෂධවේදීන්ගේ දිනය - සැප්තැම්බර් 25.
සෑම වසරකම සැප්තැම්බර් 25 වන දින ලොව පුරා ඖධවේදීන් ලෝක ඖෂධවේදී දිනය සමරති. ගෝලීය පරිමාණයෙන් සෞඛ්‍යය වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම සඳහා ඖෂධවේදීන් ඉටුකරන කාර්යභාරය පිළිබඳව මෙම දිනය අවධානය යොමු කරයි.
ඖෂධවේදීන් සම්බන්ධයෙන් ගත් විට, ඔබේ බෙහෙත් වට්ටෝරුව පුරවන කවුන්ටරය පිටුපස සිටින පුද්ගලයා ගැන ඔබ සිතනු ඇත. මෙම ඖෂධවේදීන් දිගු වේලාවක් වැඩ කරන අතර සාමාන්‍යයෙන් මුළු කාලයම රැඳී සිටියි. පෙති බෙදා හැරීම සහ ඖෂධ පිළිබඳ උපදෙස් ලබා දීම සමඟ ඖෂධවේදීන් ද ප්‍රතිශක්තිකරණ පරිපාලනය කරයි. පර්යේෂණ පවත්වන ඖෂධවේදීන් නව .ඖෂධ සොයාගෙන පරීක්ෂා කරති.
ජාත්‍යන්තර ඖෂධ සම්මේලනය (FIP) 2009 දී තුර්කියේ ඉස්තාන්බුල්හි ලෝක ඖෂධවේදී දිනය ආරම්භ කළේය. ඔවුන් සැප්තැම්බර් 25 තෝරා ගත්තේ 1912 දී මෙම දිනයේ FIP ආරම්භ කළ බැවිනි. සෑම වසරකම ලෝක ඖෂධවේදී දිනය වෙනුවෙන් තේමාවක් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කෙරේ. කර්මාන්තයේ නියුතු අය ලොව පුරා තේමාවන් ප්‍රවර්ධනය කරති. මෙම තේමාවන් ඖෂධවේදීන්ට ඔවුන්ගේ වැඩ කටයුතු ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරන ජාතික ව්‍යාපාර එක් කිරීමට උපකාරී වේ.
2020 තේමාව: "ගෝලීය සෞඛ්‍යය පරිවර්තනය කිරීම".
