# Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI) installed the world's largest solar tree.
The CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur, has developed the World’s Largest Solar Tree, which is installed at CSIR-CMERI Residential Colony, Durgapur in West Bengal.
Prof.(Dr.) Harish Hirani, Director, CSIR-CMERI, while elaborating about the technology stated that, The installed capacity of the Solar Tree is above 11.5 kilowatts peak.
It has the annual capacity to generate 12,000-14,000 units of Clean and Green Power.

බටහිර බෙංගාලයේ දුර්ගාපූර් හි CSIR-CMERI නේවාසික ජනපදයේ ස්ථාපනය කර ඇති ලොව විශාලතම සූර්ය ගස වන දුර්ගාපූර් හි CSIR-CMERI විසින් සංවර්ධනය කර ඇත.
CSIR-CMERI හි අධ්‍යක්ෂ මහාචාර්ය (ආචාර්ය) හරීෂ් හිරානි තාක්‍ෂණය පිළිබඳව විස්තාරනය කරමින් කියා සිටියේ සූර්ය ගසෙහි ස්ථාපිත ධාරිතාව කිලෝවොට් 11.5 ට වඩා ඉහළ මට්ටමක පවතින බවයි.
පිරිසිදු හා හරිත බලශක්තියෙන් ඒකක 12,000-14,000 ක් උත්පාදනය කිරීමේ වාර්ෂික ධාරිතාවය එහි ඇත.
