# Independent Day of Pakistan - 14 August.
The Independence Day in Pakistan is celebrated as the day when they got independence from the British rule and emerged as a separate nation. This day is also dedicated to all the martyrs, who risked their life so that they live in a free nation. Their Struggle will never be forgotten and the people there pray tribute to them by celebrating Independence Day with full patriotic spirit.
Independence Day (Urdu:Yaum-e Azadi), observed annually since 14 August 1947, is a national holiday in Pakistan, commemorating the day when Pakistan achieved independence and was declared a sovereign nation, following the end of the British Raj in 1947. In 2020 marked 74th Independence Day of Pakistan.
# පාකිස්තානයේ නිදහස් දිනය - අගෝස්තු 14.
පාකිස්තානයේ නිදහස් දිනය සමරනු ලබන්නේ ඔවුන් බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය පාලනයෙන් නිදහස ලබා වෙනම ජාතියක් ලෙස ඉස්මතු වූ දිනය ලෙස ය. නිදහස් ජාතියක ජීවත්වීම සඳහා තම ජීවිතය පරදුවට තැබූ සියලු දිවි පිදූවන්ට මෙම දිනය කැප කර ඇත. ඔවුන්ගේ අරගලය කිසි විටෙකත් අමතක නොවන අතර නිදහස් ජනතාව පූර්ණ දේශප්‍රේමී ස්වභාවයකින් සමරමින් එහි වැසියන්ට උපහාර පුද කරති.
1947 අගෝස්තු 14 සිට වාර්ෂිකව පවත්වනු ලබන නිදහස් දිනය (උර්දු: යූම්-ඊ අසාඩි) පාකිස්තානයේ ජාතික නිවාඩු දිනයක් වන අතර එය 1947 දී බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය රාජ්ගේ අවසානයෙන් පසු පාකිස්තානය නිදහස ලබා ස්වෛරී ජාතියක් ලෙස ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කළ දිනය සමරයි. 2020 පාකිස්තානයේ 74 වන නිදහස් දිනය ලෙස සනිටුහන් විය.
