# BRICS Industry Ministers attend a video meeting.
Industry Ministers of BRICS countries attended a video meeting on 25 August 2020 to discuss ways to boost cooperation in areas including 5G and Artificial Intelligence. As per Chinese state media, the meeting adopted a joint statement on cooperation in new industries such as 5G, AI and the industrial Internet, among BRICS countries - five members bloc which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

5G සහ කෘතිම බුද්ධිය ඇතුළු ක්ෂේත්රවල සහයෝගීතාව ඉහළ නැංවිය හැකි ක්රම සාකච්ඡා කිරීම සඳහා BRICS රටවල කර්මාන්ත අමාත්යවරු 2020 අගෝස්තු 25 දින වීඩියෝ රැස්වීමකට සහභාගී වූහ. චීන රාජ්ය මාධ්යයන්ට අනුව, BRICS රටවල් අතර 5G, AI සහ කාර්මික අන්තර්ජාලය වැනි නව කර්මාන්තවල සහයෝගීතාව පිළිබඳ ඒකාබද්ධ ප්රකාශයක් මෙම රැස්වීම විසින් සම්මත කරන ලදී.
