# World's first yoga University named after Swami Vivekananda launched outside India.
As part of the 6th International Yoga Day commemorations, the world's first yoga university outside India has been launched in Los Angeles, offering programmes that combine scientific principles and modern research approaches to the ancient Indian practice of yoga.
The Vivekananda Yoga University (VaYU) was jointly launched by Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan and Chairperson of the Standing Committee on External Affairs P P Chaudhary during a virtual event held at the Consulate General of India in New York.
# ස්වාමි විවේකානන්දගේ නමින් ලොව ප්‍රථම යෝග විශ්ව විද්‍යාලය ඉන්දියාවෙන් පිටත දියත් කරන ලදී.
6 වන ජාත්‍යන්තර යෝග දින සැමරුමේ කොටසක් ලෙස, ඉන්දියාවෙන් පිටත ලොව ප්‍රථම යෝග විශ්ව විද්‍යාලය ලොස් ඇන්ජලීස් හි දී දියත් කර ඇති අතර, පුරාණ ඉන්දියානු යෝගා පුහුණුව සඳහා විද්‍යාත්මක මූලධර්ම හා නවීන පර්යේෂණ ප්‍රවේශයන් ඒකාබද්ධ කරන වැඩසටහන් ඉදිරිපත් කරයි.
විවේකානන්ද යෝග විශ්ව විද්‍යාලය (වයිඅයි) විදේශ කටයුතු රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය වී මුරලිදරන් සහ විදේශ කටයුතු පිළිබඳ ස්ථාවර කමිටුවේ සභාපති පී පී චෞද්රි එක්ව නිව්යෝක්හි ඉන්දියානු කොන්සල් ජනරාල් හි පැවති අථත්ය උත්සවයකදී දියත් කරන ලදී.
