# World Youth Skills Day celebrated - 15 July.
United Nations celebrates World Youth Skills Day globally on 15 July every year. The day is celebrated as an opportunity for young people, technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions, and public and private sector stakeholders to acknowledge as well as celebrate the importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship.
The theme of World Youth Skills Day 2020 is “Skills for a Resilient Youth“.
# ලෝක තරුණ නිපුණතා දිනය සමරනු ලැබීය - ජූලි 15.
එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංවිධානය සෑම වසරකම ජූලි 15 වන දින ගෝලීය තරුණ කුසලතා දිනය ගෝලීයව සමරයි. තරුණ තරුණියන්ට, කාර්මික හා වෘත්තීය අධ්‍යාපන හා පුහුණු (TVET) ආයතනවලට සහ රාජ්‍ය හා පෞද්ගලික අංශයේ පාර්ශවකරුවන්ට රැකියා, යහපත් වැඩ සහ ව්‍යවසායකත්වය සඳහා කුසලතා ඇති තරුණ තරුණියන් සන්නද්ධ කිරීමේ වැදගත්කම පිළිගැනීමට මෙන්ම සැමරීමට ද මෙම දිනය සමරනු ලැබේ.
2020 ලෝක තරුණ නිපුණතා දිනයේ තේමාව වන්නේ “ඔරොත්තු දෙන තරුණයෙකු සඳහා වන කුසලතා” යන්නයි.
