# His Holiness Dalai Lama's biography to release in 2020.
A new biography on the life and times of Tibetian spiritual leader His Holiness Dalai Lama, who turned 85 on July 6, will be released this year. Titled 'His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama: An Illustrated Biography', the book is written by Tenzin Geyche Tethong and will be published by Roli Books.
Tenzin Geyche Tethong has been associated with the Dalai Lama for over four decades as his close aide and advisor. The biography 'also features a personal message by the spiritual leader, along with a foreword by his younger brother, Tenzin Choegal,' reports PTI.
'His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama: An Illustrated Biography' also contains some 400 rare pictures and documents about the popular spiritual leader. It took Tethong roughly five years to pen the 352-pages book.

'ඔහුගේ ශුද්ධකම දහහතරවන දලයි ලාමා: ඉලස්ට්‍රේටඩ් චරිතාපදානය' යන මාතෘකාව යටතේ ටෙන්සින් ගීච් ටෙතොං විසින් රචිත මෙම පොත රෝලි බුක්ස් විසින් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කරනු ඇත.
ටෙන්සින් ගීච් ටෙතොං දශා හතරකට අධික කාලයක් ඔහුගේ සමීපතම සහායකයා ලෙස දලයි ලාමා සමඟ සම්බන්ධ වී ඇත. චරිතාපදානයේ 'අධ්‍යාත්මික නායකයාගේ පෞද්ගලික පණිවිඩයක් ද ඔහුගේ බාල සොහොයුරා වන ටෙන්සින් චොගල්ගේ පෙරවදනක් ද ඇත' යනුවෙන් පීටීඅයි වාර්තා කරයි.
'ඔහුගේ ශුද්ධකම දහහතරවන දලයි ලාමා: නිරූපිත චරිතාපදානයක්' තුළ ජනප්‍රිය අධ්‍යාත්මික නායකයා පිළිබඳ දුර්ලභ පින්තූර සහ ලේඛන 400 ක් පමණ අඩංගු වේ. පිටු 352 කින් යුත් පොත ලිවීමට දළ වශයෙන් වසර පහක් ගත විය.
