July 5 is celebrated in Algeria as Independence Day, which is the remembrance of actual independence received from France in 1962. After being taken by the French in 1830, Algeria remained under France’s control for 132 years.

ජුලි 5 ඇල්ජීරියාවේ නිදහස් දිනය ලෙස සමරනු ලබන අතර එය 1962 දී ප්රංශයෙන් ලැබුණු සැබෑ නිදහස සැමරීමයි. 1830 දී ප්රංශ ජාතිකයන් විසින් අල්ලා ගැනීමෙන් පසුව ඇල්ජීරියාව වසර 132 ක් ප්රංශයේ පාලනය යටතේ පැවතුනි.
