# China launches new high-resolution mapping satellite.
China sent a new high-resolution mapping satellite into space on Saturday 25 July 2020 from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the northern province of Shanxi.
The Ziyuan III 03 satellite was launched by a Long March-4B rocket at 11:13 a.m. Beijing time, according to the center. It was the 341st flight mission by the Long March rocket series.
It will provide data for the country's land resource investigations, natural disaster prevention, agriculture development, water resource management, environmental surveying and urban planning.

චීනය විසින් 2020 ජූලි 25 වන සෙනසුරාදා උතුරු පළාතේ ෂැන්සි හි තායුවාන් චන්ද්‍රිකා දියත් කිරීමේ මධ්‍යස්ථානයෙන් අධි අධි-විභේදන සිතියම් චන්ද්‍රිකාවක් අභ්‍යවකාශයට යවන ලදි.
