Sri Lankan Young Artist Yohani De Silva, who grabbed the international audience with her cover song “Manike Mage Hithe” with over 129 million views, has entered the Bollywood market.
Yohani has released her soulful interpretation of the female version of the title track from the Bollywood movie “Siddat” after capturing the attention of Indian fans with her original popular record.
Shiddat, also known as “Journey Beyond Love”, is a Hindi-language romance film directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan under the T-Series and Maddock Films. The T-series youtube channel has already released the theme song of the movie “Siddat”. Radhika Madan, Sunny Kaushal, Mohit Raina, and Diana Penty appear in the film.
The film released on Disney+ Hotstar on October 1, 2021.
Meanwhile, Yohani De Silva has performed in New Delhi and Hyderabad on 29 September 2021 and on October 3. Accordingly, she has performed at Studio X in Gurgaon, and two musical shows in Hyderabad. Yohani has already been contracted by a prominent Indian talent agency after her song “Manike Mage Hithe” went viral in India and worldwide.
