The symbolic handover parade of the ceremonial Exercise Flag that signalled the formal commencement of the Exercise ‘Mithra Shakti’ to Exercise Director and General Officer Commanding 53 Division, Major General Nishantha Manage took place this morning (5) at the Combat Tranning School (CTS) Ampara.
A contingent of 120 Army personnel of the Indian Army with an equal number of Sri Lankan Army troops participate in the 8th consecutive iteration of the joint Exercise ‘Mithra Shakti’ between Sri Lanka and India.
