Twin monkeys of world's smallest species has born Chester Zoo.

A pair of the world's smallest species of monkey, each "no bigger than a ping pong ball", have been born at Chester Zoo in UK. 

The tiny eastern pygmy marmoset twins each measured 2ins (5cm) in length and 0.3oz (10g) in weight at birth.

The tiny primates have been identified as eastern pygmy marmosets, one of the samallest monkey species in the world. Eastern pygmy marmosets are usually native to the South American Rainforest.

These species are threatened by habitat loss in the wild.
