India successfully test-fires indigenously developed 02 missiles - Prithvi-II.
India successfully test-fired indigenously developed nuclear-capable missile Prithvi-II ballestic missiles at the off the eastern test range of the Odisha coast.
The missile is capable of carrying 500 to 1000 kg of warheads and is powered by liquid propulsion twin engines.
Earlier India BrahMos supersonic cruise missile developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) with a strike range of 300 kilometers successfully test-fired.
Prithvi-II was also successfully test-fired on 21st February, last year from the ITR at Chandipur.
