Jacinda Ardern sworn in as New Zealand Prime Minister for second term.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was sworn in for a second term on Friday 06 November 2020, as final election results showed her landslide victory was even bigger than previously thought.
Ardern and her ministers, who were appointed earlier this week, took their oaths of office in English and Maori during a ceremony at Wellington’s Government House.
Ardern was the 40th Prime Minister of New Zealand and holding the leadership for Labor Party since 2017.
