04 Sri Lankan cricketers among nominated players for the most prestigious cricket award, "The ICC Awards of the Decade". 

Those Sri Lankan cricketers are Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Lasith Malinga & Rangana Herath.  

The ICC Awards of the Decade is a one-off edition of the annual awards programme, aimed at celebrating the stand-out performers and moments from the past ten years of international cricket. The apex cricketing body has included the names of several talismanic players who ruled the game in the last decade i.e. 2010-2019.
