Sthalekar joins Australian icons in Hall of Fame.

The former Australia captain, multiple World Cup winner and advocate for change and professionalism in the women's game, has become only the fourth female cricketer inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame, the country's cricket board said. Sthalekar is the 57th inductee to the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame, joining Johnny Mullagh and Merv Hughes this year.

Lisa Sthalekar, who made her international debut in 2001, was a member of Australia's World Cup-winning sides across both limited-overs formats. Sthalekar was the first woman to achieve the career double of 1,000 runs & 100 wickets in ODIs. Sthalekar is also one of just two women to have scored at least one century and taken at least one 5-for in both Tests and ODIs (the other is Ellyse Perry).

In 185 matches across all formats, the off-spinning allrounder scored a total of 3,913 runs and took 229 wickets.
