# World Space Week: 04 - 10 October 2020.
World Space Week is a UN declared celebration of space held annually, every October 4 to 10. It is the largest space event on Earth, with over 8,000 events reported in 2019 and held in 96 countries. These events are organized by thousands of organizations, including space agencies, aerospace companies, astronomy clubs and museums. In 2020, World Space Week is dedicated to satellites and their broad benefits under the theme “Satellites improve life.”
Despite the global pandemic, there are safe and exciting ways to participate and celebrate World Space Week. The Highlights section showcases some of the creative, innovative and popular events bringing people together to celebrate space.
# ලෝක අභ්‍යවකාශ සතිය: 2020 ඔක්තෝබර් 04 - 10.
ලෝක අභ්‍යවකාශ සතිය යනු සෑම ඔක්තෝම්බර් 4 සිට 10 දක්වා එක්සත් ජාතීන් විසින් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කරන ලද අභ්‍යවකාශ සැමරුමකි. එය පෘථිවියේ විශාලතම අභ්‍යවකාශ ඉසව්ව වන අතර 2019 දී සිදුවීම් 8,000 කට අධික සංඛ්‍යාවක් වාර්තා වී රටවල් 96 ක පැවැත්විණි. මෙම සිදුවීම් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන්නේ අභ්‍යවකාශ ඒජන්සි, අභ්‍යවකාශ සමාගම්, තාරකා විද්‍යා සමාජ සහ කෞතුකාගාර ඇතුළු සංවිධාන දහස් ගණනකි. 2020 දී “චන්ද්‍රිකා මගින් ජීවිතය වැඩිදියුණු කරයි” යන තේමාව යටතේ ලෝක අභ්‍යවකාශ සතිය චන්ද්‍රිකා සඳහා කැපවී ඇති අතර ඒවායේ පුළුල් ප්‍රතිලාභ සඳහා වෙන් වේ.
ගෝලීය වසංගතය තිබියදීත්, ලෝක අභ්‍යවකාශ සතිය සඳහා සහභාගී වීමට හා සැමරීමට ආරක්ෂිත හා ආකර්ෂණීය ක්‍රම තිබේ. ඉස්මතු කොටසේ අවකාශය සැමරීම සඳහා මිනිසුන් එක් කරන නිර්මාණාත්මක, නව්‍ය හා ජනප්‍රිය සිදුවීම් කිහිපයක් ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරයි.
