Sheikh Russel International Air Rifle Championship.
World number 01 Indian Elavenil Valarivan won a gold medal and Shahu Tushar Mane won a silver in the Sheikh Russel International Air Rifle Championship held virtually on 20 October.
Bangladesh Shooting Sports Federation (BSSF) was organised the championship.
Shiori Hirata from Japan won the silver, while Indonesian Vidya Toyyiba took the bronze.
Japan’s Naoya Okada won the gold in the men’s event, while India’s Shahu Tushar Mane bagged a silver.
The event was a 60-shots competition in which shooters from six nations participated which included Bangladesh, India, Japan, Korea, Indonesia and Bhutan.
