# India & Denmark launch Green Strategic Partnership.
India in a unique move has launched Green Strategic Partnership for the first time with Denmark as its partner as the two aim to be at forefront of the global fight against the Climate Change.
At the virtual Summit held on recently the Prime Ministers of India and Denmark agreed to elevate India-Denmark relations to a Green Strategic Partnership.
This partnership would build on and consolidate the existing agreement establishing a Joint Commission for Cooperation (signed 6 February 2009) between India and Denmark which envisaged cooperation within the political field; economic and commercial field; science and technology; environment; energy; education and culture.

දේශගුණික විපර්යාසයට එරෙහි ගෝලීය අරගලයේ ඉදිරියෙන්ම සිටීම අරමුණු කරගත් ඉන්දියාව සුවිශේෂී පියවරක් ගනිමින් පළමු වරට හරිත උපායමාර්ගික හවුල්කාරිත්වය ඩෙන්මාර්කය සමඟ එහි හවුල්කරු ලෙස දියත් කර තිබේ.
මෑතකදී පැවති අතථ්‍ය සමුළුවේදී ඉන්දියාව සහ ඩෙන්මාර්කය අතර හරිත උපායමාර්ගික හවුල්කාරිත්වයක් දක්වා ඉන්දියාව සහ ඩෙන්මාර්කය අතර සබඳතා ඉහළ නැංවීමට එකඟ විය.
මෙම හවුල්කාරිත්වය ඉන්දියාව සහ ඩෙන්මාර්කය අතර ඒකාබද්ධ සහයෝගිතා කොමිෂන් සභාවක් (2009 පෙබරවාරි 6 දින අත්සන් කරන ලද) දේශපාලන ක්ෂේත්රය තුළ සහයෝගීතාව අපේක්ෂා කරන පවත්නා ගිවිසුම මත ආර්ථික හා වාණිජ ක්ෂේත්රය; විද්යාව සහ තාක්ෂණය; පරිසරය; බලශක්ති; අධ්‍යාපනය සහ සංස්කෘතිය ශක්තිමත් කරනු ඇත.
