Indian top class cricketer Virat Kohli attained a special record during his recent half-century innings. Kohli became the only batsman in IPL history to achieve the record of hitting 200 sixes and 500 fours.
Kohli scored 50 off 43 balls against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which included a four and a six. With this, he succeeded in completing his 200 sixes in the IPL.
Virat Kohli is now the fifth batsman to score 200 or more sixes in IPL and became the third Indian batsman to do so. MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have hit 200 sixes in IPL before Kohli. Chris Gayle is the highest-ranked batsman in IPL history to hit maximum number of sixes.
