The COP26 United Nations Conference on Climate Change, which commenced on October 31, will be held till November 12 in Glasgow, Scotland.
The Conference of Parties (COP) is an annual summit under the Nnited Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
The UNFCCC is an global agreement signed in 1992, between 197 countires to prevent dangerous human interference with the climate system.
Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa participated the summit and made a remarkable addressing in the gathering on Monday 01 November 2021.
