Norwegian young Tennis Player Casper Ruud has clinched his second ATP Tour title by winning the Gonet Geneva Open held at the Tennis Club de Genève. The 21-year-old, No. 3 seed of the ATP 250 clay-court tournament, defeated second favourite Denis Shapovalov 7-6(4), 6-4 on 22 May 2021 singles final.
The title will moves up him up to 16th in the rankings.
Following his maiden triumph in Buenos Aires, Argentina in February last year, Ruud pocketed €41,145 as well as 250 ATP Ranking points in western Switzerland.
