# World Habitat Day - 05 October.

In 1985, the United Nations designated the first Monday in October as World Habitat Day, with the first official observance hosted in Nairobi in 1986. 

World Habitat Day is to reflect on the state of our towns and cities, and on the basic right of all to adequate shelter. The Day is also intended to remind the world that we all have the power and the responsibility to shape the future of our cities and towns.

2020 Theme: Housing For All — A Better Urban Future.

# ලෝක ජනාවාස දිනය - ඔක්තෝබර් 05.

1985 දී එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංවිධානය ඔක්තෝම්බර් මාසයේ පළමු සඳුදා ලෝක ජනාවාස දිනය ලෙස නම් කළ අතර 1986 දී නයිරෝබි හි පළමු නිල සැමරුම පැවැත්විණි.

ලෝක ජනාවාස දිනය යනු අපගේ නගරවල සහ නගරවල තත්වය සහ ප්‍රමාණවත් නවාතැන් සඳහා සියලු දෙනාගේ මූලික අයිතිය පිළිබිඹු කිරීමයි. අපගේ නගර සහ නගරවල අනාගතය හැඩගස්වා ගැනීමේ බලය හා වගකීම අප සැමට ඇති බව ලොවට මතක් කිරීම ද මෙම දිනයේ අරමුණයි.

2020 තේමාව: සැමට නිවාස - වඩා හොඳ නාගරික අනාගතයක්.
