# Pentagon approves $90 million sale of spares, support for C-130J Super Hercules aircraft to India.
The Pentagon has approved India’s request to buy $90 million worth of equipment, spare parts and logistical support for its fleet of C-130J Super Hercules cargo aircraft.
In its notification to the Congress, the Defence Security Cooperation Agency said the proposed sale will support the foreign policy and national security of the U.S. by helping to strengthen the U.S.-India strategic relationship and improve the security of a major defence partner, which continues to be an important force for political stability, peace, and economic progress in the Indo-Pacific and South Asia region.
The items ordered by India are aircraft consumable spares and repair/return parts; ground support and equipment; Cartridge Actuated Devices/Propellant Actuated Devices (CAD/PAD) fire extinguisher cartridges; flare cartridges; BBU-35/B cartridge etc.

කොන්ග්‍රසයට නිකුත් කළ නිවේදනයේ දී ආරක්ෂක ආරක්ෂක සහයෝගිතා ඒජන්සිය කියා සිටියේ යෝජිත විකිණීම එක්සත් ජනපද-ඉන්දියානු උපායමාර්ගික සම්බන්ධතාවය ශක්තිමත් කිරීමට සහ ප්‍රධාන ආරක්ෂක සහකරුවෙකුගේ ආරක්ෂාව වැඩි දියුණු කිරීමට සහාය වීමෙන් එක්සත් ජනපදයේ විදේශ ප්‍රතිපත්තියට සහ ජාතික ආරක්ෂාවට සහාය වනු ඇති බවයි. ඉන්දු-පැසිෆික් හා දකුණු ආසියානු කලාපයේ දේශපාලන ස්ථාවරත්වය, සාමය සහ ආර්ථික ප්‍රගතිය සඳහා වැදගත් බලවේගයක් වීම.
ඉන්දියාව විසින් ඇණවුම් කරන ලද භාණ්ඩ වන්නේ ගුවන් යානා පරිභෝජනය කළ හැකි අමතර කොටස් සහ අළුත්වැඩියා / ආපසු එන කොටස් ය; බිම් ආධාරක සහ උපකරණ; කාට්රිජ් ක්‍රියාකාරී උපාංග / ගුවන් යානා ඉන්ධන උපාංග (CAD / PAD) ගිනි නිවන කාට්රිජ්; ගිනිදැල් කාට්රිජ්; BBU-35 / B කාට්රිජ් ආදිය.
