Academy Award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly donated roughly $10 million to the people and efforts of Ukraine.
The war-torn nation is the birthplace of DiCaprio's grandmother, Helene Indenbirken, whom the Hollywood star is extremely close to, according to a report.
DiCaprio, 47, referred to her as "Oma," and she was born in Odesa in 1915.
Her family fled the area in 1917 during the 1917 Odesa Bolshevik uprising, according to the report. That city is now seen as a key target for Russian forces because of its coastal location.
