Exercise Cold Response 2022 – NATO and partner forces face the freeze in Norway.
Cold Response 2022 (CR 22) is a Norwegian military exercise with invited allies and partner nations. The exercise started on 14 March and will continue to 1 April 2022.
The first allied troops arrived in Norway last autumn and earlier this winter to train and prepare for the exercise. There will also be some minor allied training in April, after the field exercise.
Over 30,000 soldiers from 27 countries, as well as a number of civilian agencies participate in the exercise.
