A 7-year-old boy from Hyderabad has become one of the youngest in the world to scale Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa at 19,341 feet.
Virat Chandra achieved the rare feat on March 06, 2020.
Earlier this month, a nine-year-old girl from Andhra Pradesh becme the youngest girl in Asia to have conquered Mount Kilimanjaro. Nine-year-old Kadapala Rithvika Sri from Anantapur has conquered Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, which is African continent’s highest peak, along with her father and guide. She climbed to Gilman’s Point at 5,681 metres above mean sea level on February 25.
Rithvika conquered Mount Kilimanjaro along with her father Kadapala Sankar who is also her guide.
