The dates for the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup, set to be held in India, has been confirmed by the continental governing body.
The women's football event will start on January 20, 2022, and will finish on February 6, 2022.
The tournament has also been expanded to feature 12 of the best teams on the continent. This was confirmed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Local Organising Committee of AFC Women's Asian Cup India 2022.
The D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad's TransStadia and the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar will host the AFC Women's Asia Cup India 2022.
