NASA's James Webb Telescope spots Saturn's moon blasting 'huge plumes' of life-containing water into space.

Scientists are astounded by a 'spray war' unfolding close to Saturn's icy moon Enceladus.

The most powerful space telescope in use has once again captured the attention of millions with a ground-breaking discovery. Enceladus, Saturn's ice moon, has been seen shooting a "huge plume" of water vapour into space; this plume contains many elements necessary for life.

The finding, which was published in Nature, suggests that the vapour jets travel significantly deeper into space than originally thought—far deeper than the breadth of Enceladus itself. (Enceladus has a diameter of approximately 504 kilometres.)
