The 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly got undeway in New York on 21 September 2021. Over 100 global leaders are attending the deliberation.
These includes, Sri Lankan President Hon. Gothabhaya Rajapaksha, US President Joe Biden, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and British Premier Boris Johnson.
Newly sworn in General Assembly President Abdulla Shahid, the Foreign Minister of Maldives opened the new 76th session.
