Rahul Panicker, the current 70kgs Indian National Arm Wrestling Champion, defeated 'world's strongest bodybuilder' Larry Wheels in a super match.
The super match took place in Dubai with excited onlookers cheering for them.
Panicker's father was a powerlifter and had won the title of Powerman of India and one of his uncles was a weightlifting champion who had even coached the Indian team.
He was introduced to arm wrestling when he was in Class 10 and participated in the first competitive match at the district level in Class 12, however, he could not win. But there was no looking back. He has won six medals at the nationals in the last 10 years.
