The Hayleys Group of Companies has decided to increase the number of shares by way of a sub division . Accordingly, the existing shares of each company will be subjected to the following sub divisions.
- HAYLEYS PLC - 1:10
- DIPPED PRODUCTS PLC - 1:10
- ALUMEX PLC - 1:2
- REGNIS (LANKA) PLC - 1:2
- SINGER (SRI LANKA) PLC - 1:3
- HAYCARB PLC - 1:10
- SINGER INDUSTRIES (CEYLON) PLC - 1:2
- TALAWAKELLE TEA ESTATES PLC 1:2
- HAYLEYS FABRIC PLC - 1:2
- KELANI VALLEY PLANTATIONS PLC - 1:2
- AMAYA LEISURE PLC - 1:2
- HAYLEYS FIBRE PLC - 1:3
- UNISYST ENGINEERING PLC - 1:2
- THE KINGSBURY PLC - 1:2
With the announcement of the decision, the CSE halted the trading for the aforementioned companies for 30 minutes. Subsequently, this trading halt was lifted at 11.30 a.m. today.
The sub division would not increase the stated capital of any company, but will increase the liquidity of the shares as the number of existing share increases. Confirming this, all these companies recorded huge price increase during today's trading.
