Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar visited Sri Lanka today as a UNICEF ambassador for global humanitarian efforts.
He took steps towards improving the lives of children.
During his visit, the cricket legend collaborated with Governor Navin Dissanayaka and UNICEF representatives to make an impactful visit to a preschool in the picturesque Sabaragamuwa Province.
The purpose of this visit was to shine a light on the essential work being done by UNICEF in partnership with foreign and local authorities to enhance early childhood education and support for the children of Sri Lanka.
