# World Organ Donation Day - 13 August.
The World Organ Donation Day is observed globally on 13th August every year. This day is celebrated to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and motivate people to donate organs after death. The day provides an opportunity to all to come ahead and pledge to donate their precious organs because one organ donor can save up to eight lives.
# ලෝක ඉන්ද්‍රිය පරිත්යාග දිනය - අගෝස්තු 13.
ලෝක අවයව පරිත්යාග කිරීමේ දිනය සෑම වසරකම අගෝස්තු 13 වන දින ගෝලීයව සමරනු ලැබේ. අවයව පරිත්යාග කිරීමේ වැදගත්කම පිළිබඳව දැනුවත් කිරීම සහ මරණයෙන් පසු අවයව පරිත්යාග කිරීමට මිනිසුන් පෙළඹවීම සඳහා මෙම දිනය සමරනු ලැබේ. එක් ඉන්ද්‍රිය පරිත්‍යාගශීලියෙකුට ජීවිත අටක් පමණ ඉතිරි කර ගත හැකි නිසා සියලු දෙනාටම ඉදිරියට පැමිණ ඔවුන්ගේ වටිනා අවයව පරිත්යාග කිරීමට ප්‍රතිඥා දීමට මෙම දිනය අවස්ථාව ලබා දෙයි.
